You play as an EMT quickly diagnosing and treating patients of their ailments. While you ensure your Space Ambulance is on route towards the best hospital or next emergency, keeping the current patients alive is of top priority.

GAMEPLAY GUIDE

- WASD movement controls

- Press E to interact with an object

- Return an object to its location to use a different object

- Use the keypad at the console to control the spacecraft's motion

- Remember that lives are in your hands; misdiagnosing a patient could have dire consequences

OUR CHALLENGE

This game took inspiration from the challenge of exploring future careers in healthcare. As humanity progresses in the field of space exploration, an inhabited and industrialized outer space becomes closer to a reality. This reality would bring many new jobs, especially in healthcare; space is a dangerous place with many hazards that require innovative ways to mitigate. Thus, our game set out to envision what an emergency response or search and rescue job might look like in this future. The game involves travelling around the moons of Saturn in order to find a patient, whose health must be stabilized until they can be brought to a hospital. This experience shows how treatments would work in a space environment and recreates the stress and pressure that would be present in a real emergency response job.
